Day 1 NarrationOf course, not everyone helped. A few of you huddled by the caravan, hoping to stay far away from the fray. Cold Salmon and Hatred, hesthefastest, INeedNoSalt, Izuvan, Jester313, Matatat, minigunwielder, neville, precisionk, Soup, TehSpectre, Unearthly Stew, Variable, and visiblehowl all watched the battle from afar, using a few caravan wagons for support.Way to be, TS. So... how should we spend our monies (hard-earned or otherwise)? Should we invite crono729 or Rend? Should we try to murder any fellow caravaners?

When you all have 5hp left due to horrible grenade/jinx/opponent attacks, I shall chuckle.
I chose to steal from Egos last night, let's see if it paid off.
On another note, I now have enough cash to get a gun. Possibly a bigger one if I successfully stole from Egos.

Also, I believe that we should add...maybe 1 more person to our merry band.
The Spectre 5 should be a constant.

Oh yeah, I forgot you were a filthy sneak! All is forgiven.
One more? Does Ardor not count?

We should probably invite Rend since we've already spent money on him. Isn't that some kind of economic principle? Always consider sunk costs? Throw good money after bad?
Can I make a post without questions?

Hmm.....so I wonder how/where the stuff I got came from.
I have a plasma grenade (again) and an Uzi. I wonder if Plut is missing either?
I'm also down 10 hit points, gained a level and have heard rumors of a Vault 22 on the US/Canada border.

I also leveled up. I'm at 14/22 with $407 and no items.

So, the attack options:
1) You may hit them once with a weapon and then flee (example: I shoot Drez once with my 10mm pistol and then flee). Your target will see race and weapon of their attacker. So if I was a mutant, Drez would have gotten shot by a mutant with a 10mm pistol who ran away very quickly.
2) You may engage in combat with them, where you each get 3 rounds of fighting in where they will defend themselves with their most powerful non-explosive weapon, you go first, then they go for each round. After 3 rounds, you both back down.
3) You may fight to the death. You will continue attacking each other until one person is dead. You may choose one weapon to use, or two if your primary weapon is going to be a grenade-ish type weapon. Beware, in a fight to the death, your target will use their most powerful weapons to defend themselves which will include explosives and the like.
I wonder if you can do option 1 with a plasma grenade.
Maybe I will get an oil can and spiked knuckles.

Ah, was just informed my stealing failed (Yikes! Seems the raiders had a Plasma Grenade!) and Plut knows I tried to steal from him. So sad.

DA, you shouldn't have a plasma grenade, you used it in the fight.
The SMG you got though, was from the group you hit.
I have a 10% discount today on items and I would rather not buy anything for myself, seeing how I'm probably gonna die soonish I would guess.
So if you guys want me to buy anything for you all, let me know.
Maye it isn't a bad idea to look into those smg's for people since the burst attack can make someone giblets in a hurry.
DA has my money from yesterday which can outright buy one too.
I have $364 from radscorpions and caravan protection.

I have $350 bucks.

Sorry to be back late. I leveled up to gain 3 HP and am currently at 25/33. I wonder if I can use my First Aid as an action tonight? If so, I'll heal FWD or whomever else is at the lowest HP.
I have $368 and an extra switchblade to sell. Ardor, will your Charisma help increase the sell price? If we can all chip in for a Cattle Prod, I think that'll be the best bang for our buck in terms of mid-priced weaponry.
Time to go through the topic, add up votes, and see what's going on. Rend suggested that we all take the same Job (I haven't read far know to know what that is) since that may determine factions for at least the next part of the game and he'd like to be on the same side as we are. So... what are people thinking about taking?

I am going to do the shooting thing, since I have all my stats put into shooting.
And I would like to point out that all of us taking the same job is a stupid idea.

here we go. Job postings. So I think my best option as a Gifted INT-based character is Fortune Telling? It's a risk, but it could also be lucrative.

Interrogation - See if you can get any of Shelter City's prisoners talking.
Poker Tournament - Win cash!
Line-Dancing Competition - Show off your technique and win.
Stripping - But only if you're beautiful.
Brahmin Wrangler - Wrangle the town's brahmin!
Future Teller - (Small print: For entertainment purposes only!)

Boxing - Probably requires a good combination of endurance, fighting skill, and how much HP one has at the start. You will probably lose HP.
Gecko Hunt - The rewards are probably determined by how many people sign up.
Shooting Range - Gun-savvy folks apply here!
Interrogation - Charisma would be a bonus here, I assume. Possible death by inmate?
Poker Tournament - Gambling skill required.
Line-Dancing Competition - Gifted?
Stripping - Humans. God help us if a mutant strips.
Brahmin Wrangler - See Gecko hunt.
Future Teller - Luck. I don't know why...just a feeling.
Gun Cleaner - Sign up to blow your head off for lulz. Do not pick this.

Are you skilled in guns FWD? We could look at buying you something better.
DA has an SMG it seems, we could always look at getting more of those since the bust dmg would probably be nice in a pinch, especially against people trying to hit us in the dead of night.
Also, I wouldn't mind using the switchblade MrBlarney if it does more than the standard 1-7 dmg I have. I have to check again at whether charisma helps with resale values or not.
