Hey Ardor and/or Drez, which way should we go? Give us the inside scoop!

Do we want to pool our money and buy something nice for ourselves? Hopefully we're all on the same team...
Two humans + two ghouls + two robots = $1700. If Ardor and Drez are willing to share, we can give our robot friends Spiked Knuckles while the rest of us go with Wakazashi. Even if we can't agree to a good share of cash, we can all at least arm ourselves with Brass Knuckles and Spears, which are at least cost efficient. If we're deciding to be extra friendly and trusting, we can pool funds to get one of us a Cattle Prod, which seems to be a good deal relative to other vendor items of that price range.
But I guess we might want to wait until tonight, when we have more information about the specific results of our character builds.

If we're deciding to be extra friendly and trusting, we can pool funds to get one of us a Cattle Prod, which seems to be a good deal relative to other vendor items of that price range. I read this as "extra friendly and thrusting", which I think is probably some kind of omen. I'm willing to contribute my measly $100, unless my build details lead me to believe that a Kamikaze robot is somehow more likely than average to live a full life.

I may change my build as it seems all the robots are going for unarmed/gambling specs.
What do you guys think of a Perception, Small Guns, Quick Draw build?
I think I am going to change to that.

I didn't get my PM yet.
And yeah, being different than the other robots sounds good. I'm hoping my AGI and Kamikaze will help me get the drop on STR / Heavy-Handed builds if necessary.

Yay, progress.
FWD, you should buy the Brass Knuckles, then trade the remaining $60 to someone trustworthy. Maybe TehSpectre can add that as seed money to Gumpy's robo-mafia gambling ring, but that depends on how much we can trust them to give us back our fair share.
Depending on what stats I get back from my build, I may buy either a Spear or a Wakazashi and if there's extra money, I'd like an emergency Stim Pack. The Spear + Stim Pack will run me $280, which is $30 more than I currently have. So maybe I could use an extra $30?

Well, it's only $40. It's worth a minor investment.
I just found that the Gifted trait allows me to take a second attribute. Right now I'm thinking CHA, AGI, or LCK will be my best choices. Any opinions?

Yea, I'm thinking Perception or Intelligence. I'm really trying to decide if I should be reading more into it like the game (i.e. Perception likely opposes stealing) or not.

Well, I decided to take Agility as my second attribute from my Gifted trait. Maybe this'll help my survivability?
FWD, if you could trade to me $60, I'll be quite thankful. Rend is looking to team up with me, and if the win conditions allow it I'd like to help him get the Spear + Stim Pack equipment that I'm also looking to buy. He's a Ghoul / AGI / First Aid / Small Frame, which could be useful to add to our team.

So I've gone Human, Charisma (20% discount on purchases today), Gambling (I have half the risk anyone else does and I've learned that the total amount of money bet between the players will increase the potential winnings tonight) and jinxed.
If jinxed is anything like what fallout had it, I would suggest not being near me with weapons or attacking me, bad things might happen more often heh.
I'm willing to do any purchases you guys need and I won't charge you a commission. I'm just flattered you invited me to your team.

Also remember, the GM's had noted that you can sell back purchases you made today for full price, likely to make sure everyone feels like they had a fair chance to take advantage of the information slowly coming out.
So if you bought something, return it for full price and have me buy it for a discount.
Also, gambling limits are +/- 90% since the skill said no good gambler will ever go broke. However, I'm very tempted to bet most my money with the highest odds anyways to go for all or nothing (90%).
Figure out if you guys think you need anything today, I can loan a little bit of money out, but I'd rather take the risk at gaining a whole lot more, it might put us ahead of any other teams as far as bonus money is concerned.

It's up to you. If you guys want to take the bigger risk, we can pool our money to me and gamble it away and pray the RNG or whatever gives us good luck.
However, if you gyus want anything in the meantime, make sure you have me purchase it for you since 20% can add up.
It was also stated that the discount percentage may change daily.

To comment on the fact that Drez and I are playing, there are many ways we can play the game as neutral players with the knowledge of everything going on and it is something we will do to keep things fair.
Also, we will not be taknig advantage of our position, so for gambling as an example, I can very well be the guy who loses the most money tonight.

I figured I might use the money to purchase another player's full cooperation in any kind of operations we may come across.
Maybe if we find a Reno-ish town, we can use said person to go make us some money, in whatever way possible!
Nah, I'll gamble most of what I have tonight at max risk. I figure why not. IF the game has items available for purchase at thousands of dollars, money we have now might pale in comparison to how much we may find halfway through the game.
